How do entry and exit filters work?
Entry and exit filters require that a trade signal aligns with the direction of a selected filter moving average before executing. For example, with an entry filter active, a Long signal will only trigger if the filter MA is also pointing upward — reducing false entries in counter-trend conditions and improving overall signal quality.
